Remember, any dog can track mix breed or purebred. While you don't have to earn a title in the sport, it's a great way to give you and your dog a wonderful outlet for exercise in the beautiful outdoors.

Ruth Vaughn Field Tracking Seminar
Where: Bow, WA
When: November 21 & 22, 2026

Ruth trained & handled several of her dogs to the Tracking Champion level and in 2015 became an AKC TD/TDU tracking judge and in 2024 became regular status for TDX. Ruth has judged tests for clubs throughout the United States, including several Nationals tests. Over the last 15 years, Ruth has given numerous beginning and advanced tracking seminars.
Ruth’s focus is on necessary tracking behaviors: what to look for, how to get them and how to get the optimal arousal levels and emotional state your dog needs to be successful in tracking from first puppy track to working TDX/VST dogs.
