Oh my gosh!! Imagine me jumping for joy right now!! I pulled the American Rottweiler Club Obedience rankings tallied through the 3rd Quarter and my *A-MA-Zing* puppy is ranked #2 in Novice Obedience for her 2 qualifying runs. Her first leg REALLY helped since she got High in Trial for 45 points. So incredibly proud of 'Cuda!!!

DZK9Designs used 'Cuda's Barn Hunt photo (actual photo is on the About page) in their new Barn Hunt Activity Book. Full of pages to color, mazes to solve and pages to keep track of how your dog is doing in Barn Hunt trials.

We went to Barn Hunt Casa Grande's Halloween weekend trial and Q'd 2 more times in Open to earn her RATO title with two 2nd place wins. The two times we NQ'd were my fault for not giving her more time to search. Now I know!

September 20 & 21, 2025: We went to New Mexico for the Sandia Dog Obedience Club's 2 day indoor Obedience Trial and lucked out that there was a Bosque Barnstormers Barn Hunt trial just 15 minutes away, so entered the 1st trial on Sunday too, since we weren't in the ring at the Obedience trial until after Noon.
Saturday: 'Cuda didn't pull her head into the "game" until the figure 8, but we still scored well with a 191.5 and 1st place for her 2nd leg toward her CD.
Sunday: Barn Hunt?! 'Cuda loves this game SO much that with no training or classes and almost a year since she earned her RATN, she went in the ring and rooted straw up into the air to find her 2 rats for her 1st Q in Open A and 1st leg toward her RATO. To my amazement, she also earned 1st PLACE in a class of 17 entries.

At the Obedience trial, 'Cuda was ON! She did so good up until the stays. I could tell she was distracted during the sit stay, but she stuck to it and finished the 1 minute. She was in the line next to a Rottweiler boy and noticed him during the down stay. When the nub started wagging 100 mph when she saw him I knew she was done. She stood up all flirty-like saying LET'S PLAY; thereby NQ'ing off a score of 198! Just 1/2 pt from being tied with High in Trial. = (
July, 2025: 'Cuda and I competed in Rally Adv. at the Flagstaff Kennel Club show and earned her 2nd and 3rd leg to complete her RA title.
Thank you to the Fiesta Dog Shows for putting on an AKC Obedience trial in Scottsdale on May 3, 2025! 'Cuda and I earned a score of 198 in Novice B under judge Lora Seale for a High in Trial and her first leg toward her Companion Dog (CD) title!!
I am *beyond* proud of how well she worked and what an amazing trooper she was for hanging out at the show for 5 hours before we took our turn in the ring. Yes, I got there way too early.
Thanks to all my fellow exhibitors & the judge for the compliments, my friend, El, for calling patterns and being our "judge" and Connie Cleveland for all the great video tips at The Obedience Road.

Thank you to the Border Collie Club of Arizona for putting on an AKC Herding trial in Dewey! 'Cuda qualified in the PT class both days (4/26 & 27) and she can now add the title of PT to her list of titles earned.

'Cuda Q'd in 5 out of 6 runs (Int., Ext., & Container) this weekend to finish her Adv. Interior and Exterior titles and she needs one more Q to finish her Adv. Container title. With 28+ dogs in each element, she finished with a 3rd place Exterior on 4/12 and a 4th place Interior on 4/13!
We earned our 1st Rally Advanced leg w/an 88 (I did a sign wrong and lost 10 pts for us) and our 1st Beg. Novice leg with a 1st place and score of 196! Yay 'Cuda!!
Owner Handled Best of Breed all 4 shows. Through 1/31/2025, 'Cuda and I are ranked #15 in NOHS for Rottweilers only.
'Cuda Q'd in Advanced Scent Work Container, Interior and Exterior for her 1st leg in each element.
