What's up with the name?
I started training and showing Rottweilers in Conformation, Obedience and Agility in the late '90s while living in Anchorage, Alaska. As my dogs’ accomplishments grew, I wanted a way to showcase their success beyond the show ring. That need inspired me to learn HTML and build my first website—long before modern web design tools existed.
That experience is what led to the name of this site and the domain behind it. My goal now is to help you Show Off the achievements of your dogs, or to promote your club, events, and services to a wider audience—not just to those who happen to see a Facebook post. An outdated or inactive website can cost you visitors, potential clients, new members, and exhibitors.
Today, many searches for breeders, trainers, clubs, and businesses lead only to a Facebook page, with no website at all. In other cases, a website exists but hasn’t been updated, leaving the impression that the organization, business or breeder is no longer active. That’s where I come in! I provide professional, current, and engaging website design and maintenance so your online presence reflects the quality and credibility of your work.
Showing Off Web Design is not a large marketing agency charging excessive fees for website creation, SEO optimization, alt‑tag implementation, animation, or routine updates. I am an independent designer with decades of experience in the dog world—training and showing since 1992—who genuinely enjoys building clean, functional websites in a timely manner and I do not use WordPress!

Also on this website, you'll find links to U.S. businesses that custom make gear for Competition Obedience. Big box places are easy to find, but people are *always* posting on Facebook asking "Where can I find...." Visit the LINKS page first.
If you're in my boat, you want to know when there's a seminar on your favorite sport coming to your area. Especially if you mostly train alone. Whether your sport is Herding, Barn Hunt, Rally, Tracking, Obedience, Freestyle or the health of your canine performer, the seminar will be listed here - for FREE!! I post what I find, but can't find every one, so feel free to submit info to me if a seminar in your area isn't listed. Check out the SEMINARS drop down menu and pick your sport.
